I use 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) whenever possible. Such as my wife’s and my medical power of attorney, my parent’s will, copies of my wife’s and my drivers licenses and social security cards, the birth certificates for us and our three boys, life insurance policies, and so much more. Important Documentsīasically, all the critical documents that you keep inside of your fireproof safe? I also have digital versions of them so I can access them at any time from anywhere. It’s very helpful to be able to quickly access any of those credit card numbers through the 1Password app on my phone (because I always have my iPhone on me). But at times I need the card info for something else, or I need the numbers to a card that I don’t have on my person. These cards are, of course, all stored on my iPhone to use with Apple Pay, and two of them I keep in my actual, physical wallet. One for personal family, one for my business, one for my non-profit, and one for a separate charitable giving account. Then, all you needed to remember was the one single password in order to unlock 1Password.īut the name doesn’t really do it justice any longer, because 1Password holds so much more than just passwords… Credit CardsĮven with a simple approach to finances I still happen to have four unique credit card accounts. And so, 1Password would allow you to use unique and complicated passwords for every different login you had. It’s a bad idea to use the same login and password for everything.
